Hi,
Wow! It's hard to believe that I've lived in Lancaster for over six years now. It just seems like yesterday that I arrived here and started being a DJ for WJTL. Time does fly!
Radio is great because you hear my voice. What will you think of me now that you know what I look like? I'm funny aren't I? Anyway, these pictures represent things and people that are very important to me. Enjoy getting to know me as I get to know you.
I'm so happy to be part of the WJTL staff. I ran across the station back in 1999 when I was going to my second Creation. I really loved the mix of Christian music which was new to me since I came from CT where we have no Christian radio stations that play Christian music full time. Since then I've taken a real liking to the station and I hoped that maybe someday I could be part of the staff. After much prayer God opened the doors for me to be a part of the staff. I'm happy to be here.
I graduated from Millersville University with a double major in Business and Communications. Currently, I'm attending Lancaster Bible College to pursue a Master's Degree in Bible. That's the plan. Of course God can change it at anytime. So, I'm seeking His will above anything else.
I believe that God wants me to be involved in opening up Christian radio stations especially in New England. But at this time I'm getting prepared for what God has for me.
These days I feel a big need to encourage you as the church to stand up for what's right and of God. It seems like that more and more things of value, truth, and God are being taken away. These things are being considered of little value, outdated, or offensive. Christians are called the intolerant ones! Know that he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Phil. 4:13). We need to continue being vocal and standing up for what's right. If we don't then we'll have no one to blame but ourselves when our Christian values are taken away.
Feel free to drop me an email. I look forward to spending time with you. Have a great day!
Keep it real for Him,
TJ Schneider
